Shakib Khan is a popular and successful actor, producer, singer and media personality who works in Bengali films in both Bangladesh and West Bengal. He was born on 28 March 1979 as Masud Rana Shakib Khan and made his acting debut in 1999 with the film Anonto Bhalobasha. He has won various awards and accolades, including two National Film Awards for Best Actor for Bhalobaslei Ghor Bandha Jay Na and Khoder Pore Ma. He is also known by the initialism SK and is currently the highest paid actor in Bangladesh. Some of his notable films are Shikari, Nabab, Bhaijaan Elo Re, Bir and Nabab LLB.
