The popular duo of Siam Ahmed and Safa Kabir are back with a new web series titled “Tikit”. The series is based on a story by Mohammad Nazim Uddin and directed by Vicky Zahed. The series promises to be a dark comedy, thriller and satire that explores the lives of different characters in a twisted plot.
Siam Ahmed, who plays the character of Salek, said that he had to undergo a physical transformation for the role. He also said that he was initially doubtful about his ability to portray the character, but the director gave him confidence and courage. “The story of ‘Tikit’ is very interesting and different from other stories. Every character in the series is different and has their own story,” he added.
Safa Kabir, who plays a bold character in the series, said that this work was special for her for several reasons. She said that she had never played such a character before and faced some challenges while doing so. “The role I have played is vastly different from others. It is a very complex and layered character that requires a lot of depth and emotion,” she said.
The Chorki Original series also features a talented cast of Manoj Pramanik, Abdullah Al Shentu, Joy Raj, AK Azad Shetu, Mahmud Alam, Badal Shahid, Marshia Shawan and others.
