IPL is still 1 month late. The mini auction is about a month away. Before that, there was a sudden noise about the IPL on Sunday. This was the last day to submit the list of retained and released cricketers before the mini auction. Each team has released more than one cricketer. As a result, a lot of money went into the hands of the parties before the auction.
Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) is the biggest gainer in the auction. They released Wanindu Hasaranga, Josh Hazlewood, Finn Allen, Michael Bracewell, David Willey and Wayne Parnell, Harshal Patel, R Sonu Yadav, Avinash Singh, Siddarth Kaul and Kedar Jadhav. As a result RBC will have Rs 40.75 crore in the auction.
Next is Sunrisers Hyderabad. They will come down with 34 crore rupees. They released Harry Brook, Akeal Hosein and Adil Rashid, Samarth Bipin Vyas, Kartik Tyagi and Vivrant Sharma before the auction. Out of this, they got back 13.25 crores excluding Harry Brook.
Kolkata Knight Riders will be the third team with the most money in the auction. They will come down with Rs 32.7 crore. Kolkata released Shakib Al Hasan, Liton Das, David Wiese, Tim Southee and Johnson Charles, Aarya Desai, Narayan Jagadeesan, Mandeep Singh, Kulwant Khejroliya, Shardul Thakur, Lockie Ferguson and Umesh Yadav. Leaving Shardul Thakur and Lockie Ferguson around Rs 21 crores came to Kolkata’s house.
MS Dhoni’s team Chennai Super Kings is number four in the list. They have 31.4 crore rupees. cSK left out Ben Stokes, Dwaine Pretorius, Kyle Jamieson and Sisanda Magala, Ambati Rayudu, Bhagath Varma, Subhranshu Senapati and Akash Singh.
Punjab will have Rs 29.1 crore. Delhi Capitals will have Rs 28.95 crore. Gujarat Titans will have Rs 23.15 crore. Mumbai Indians will have Rs 15.25 crore. Rajasthan has Rs 14.50 crore. Lucknow Super Giants have the least money. They have 13.15 crore.
