The High Court has issued a ruling as to why action should not be taken to stop the broadcast of Salman Shah’s biographical drama serial ‘Buker Moddhye Agun‘.
A High Court bench headed by Justice Khasruzzaman issued the 4-week ruling on Tuesday (April 4).
The court passed this order after hearing a writ filed by Salman Shah’s mother Neela Chowdhury.
Advocate Chowdhury Morshed Kamal Tipu appeared for the writ in the court. Lawyers AK Khan Ujjwal, M Rahman Rahat Birja Bala and Sharmin Rahman were with him.
The lawyers said the Buker Moddhye Agun drama serial has disrespectfully presented false and fabricated information about the biographies of Salman Shah and his mother Neela Chowdhury.
The eight-episode drama serial is airing on the OTT platform ‘Hoichoi’.
