Bangladesh’s OTT platforms are not lagging in the video streaming mania. In just two years, Binge has firmly established itself in this new industry. This domestic OTT service has made satellite TV channels very accessible over the internet. This advantage has been accelerated by the emergence of new forms of Bengali serials in the form of international quality web series. A shining example of this evolution is emerging director and wright Vicky Zahed‘s debut web series ‘The Silence‘. Today’s article is about this thriller series which was released on the screen of the Bangla OTT platform Binge on February 30.
Storyline: Based on Anton Chekhov’s short story, ‘The Silence’ seems to be a different and admirable production. Not only is it made for entertainment but it is also educational. The story has a little bit of depth to it that will make you think. Every episode was thrilling and mysterious.
‘The Silence’ Web Series Review: One year must remain silent. Only then will you get ten crore rupees. If such a challenge was thrown to you, would you take it? You have to leave your family, surrounding people, familiar surroundings and live in an unknown place, and accept this condition. Would you agree to accept that condition? Why would it be
Leaving that question aside, I looked at Ruby and Ayan instead. It’s the bizarre challenges that this couple takes on as they battle their way through life. Quietly, they accept everything, ignoring the apparent inconsistencies around them, hoping that the fortunes will change as the years go by. Be a millionaire. However, as time goes on, everything changes like a chameleon. All the normal patterns of life began to change. That is basically the story. Vicky Zaheed’s ‘The Silence’ comes to streaming site ‘Binge.’
Everyone knows that Vicky Zaheed studies a lot before creating any content
Since the beginning of creation, there has been a genuine and inexhaustible attraction in man toward forbidden things. This attraction makes him on the one hand excessively ambitious, on the other hand, indifferent to all social norms. And it is the emotion that pushes him to unintended and unpleasant consequences. Just like the legendary story of Adam, Eve, and the Serpent. The 7 deadly sins that God does not like are the 7 deadly sins that Iblis loves very much. Iblis’ job is to deceive people but can humans ever deceive Iblis?
Based on Anton Chekhov’s short story, ‘The Silence’ seems to me to be a different and admirable production. Not only is it made for entertainment but it is also educational. The story has a little bit of depth to it that will make you think. Every episode was thrilling and mysterious. The suspense was maintained at the end because you can’t predict how the ending is going to be.
Some scenes seemed illogical to me, but after seeing the twist, they were automatically justified.
Cinematography, editing, and color grading are commendable. All four actors acted well in the lead role. Everyone was in an interesting role in episode 5. Also, the side characters are decent.
Can’t find a weak point because I didn’t expect too much while watching. After watching, it felt like worth watching. Vicky Zaheed gives us more good work gifts. Mehjabeen seems to be having the best time of his career. His script choice is very good.
Now Bangladesh crime, thriller, supernatural and suspense Tv Film-cinema means Vicky Zahed. A devoted fan of Alfred Hichkok, the father of the modern thriller in Hollywood, he admits that he likes to play with the psychology of the audience. Even to the critics, he is absolutely ruthless, straightforward, and spontaneous in his storytelling.
Coating the background with this idea, the story and screenplay of the series are written by Vicky himself. Nazim Ud-Daula accompanied him in the screenplay. As usual, Mehzabin Chowdhury remains at the center of the story. Her main co-star is Shyamol Mawla, who is now spending a busy time on Bangla web content. And Azizul Hakim and Bijri Barkatullah, popular actors of the 90s, will appear with new surprises.
