Hoichoi Bangladesh has announced 8 original shows to be released throughout the year. These shows include the second season some of the most appreciated Bengali web content as of yet– Ashfaque Nipun’s “Mohanagar 2” and Tanim Noor’s “Kaiser Level 2”.
On the occasion of the platform’s yearly meet up programme, Vishnu Kant Mohta, Co-Founder hoichoi said, “We at hoichoi are extremely proud of ourselves for being the top vernacular OTT platform there is, with 130+ originals in just 5 years and massive hits from hoichoi Bangladesh.”
Apurba starrer “Buker Moddyhe Agun”
Soumya Mukherjee, Chief Operating Officer at Hoichoi, shared his thoughts on the Hoichoi Meet 2023, saying, “Hoichoi has always believed in bringing the best talents – both creators and actors, to ensure that quality entertainment reaches its viewers.”
The 8 new Bangladeshi originals are– Apurba starrer “Buker Moddyhe Agun” directed by Tanim Rahman Angshu, Ashfaque Nipun’s “A Common Man”, featuring Afran Nisho, Sunny Sanwar and Faisal Ahmed’s jointly directorial project “Mission Huntdown” which will portray FS Nayeem and Bidya Sinha Mim in the lead roles. Other shows include Anam Biswas’s “Rongila Kitab”, an adaptation of the novel of the same name authored by Kingkor Ahsan. Tanim Noor’s “Kaiser Level 2” is also on the list featuring Afran Nisho.
The much anticipated and awaited show “Mohanagar” is returning with its second season. The magic of Mosharraf Karim and Ashfaque Nipun duo is coming back again.
Kaiser 2
Shafayet Mansoor Rana will be making his OTT debut with “Odrishshyo”. The cast is yet to be announced. Krishnendu Chattypadhyay will be directing the show “Delta 2051” featuring Azmeri Haque Badhan, Intekhab Dinar and Rawnak Hasan in pivotal roles.
Mission Huntdown
Talking about his plans for Hoichoi Bangladesh and hoichoi Meet 23, Sakib R Khan, Country Director of Hoichoi Bangladesh said, “Hoichoi Bangladesh started its journey in 2019 with ‘Dhaka Metro’, and now have over 10 originals that are critically acclaimed and loved by our users worldwide.”
