Ordinary students at the rally said, ‘Soon, the symbols Majumdar and Pal Dipta, who are critical of Islam, should be permanently expelled from the university. Besides, they should be brought under the law very soon and exemplary punishment should be provided. Otherwise we will build a big movement.

There can be no alternative but permanent expulsion. I want their permanent expulsion. Many students from different departments including Md. Hon’ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is working relentlessly to build a non-communal state. Nobiprabi has never given an Oscar to communalism, is not giving it and will not give it in the future.
He further said that the issue of two students of Nobiprabi has come to the notice of the Nobiprabi administration on social media regarding abusive remarks about Islam.
