Bambai Meri Jaan is based on the story by renowned journalist and author S. Hussain Zaidi, who has written several books on the underworld and crime in Mumbai. The series has been created by Rensil D’Silva and Shujaat Saudagar, who have previously collaborated on films like Rang De Basanti and Rock On!!. The series is directed by Shujaat Saudagar, who makes his digital debut with this project.
The series promises to be a gripping and realistic portrayal of the dark and dangerous side of Mumbai, where crime, corruption, and violence are rampant.
