12 crore 85 lakh 86 thousand 487 people have taken the first dose of vaccine since the beginning of the vaccination program in the country to prevent COVID-19 infection. Besides, 11 crores 65 lakh 6 thousand 659 people have come under two-dose vaccination. Besides, one crore 29 lakh 21 thousand 75 people have received booster dose in the country till now.
This information is known from the press release regarding Corona’s vaccination sent from the Department of Health. It was signed by the Director and Line Director of the Management Information Branch (MIS) of the department, Prof. Dr. Mizanur Rahman.
In the last 24 hours (Saturday), 6,993 people have been vaccinated in the first dose and 39,828 people have been vaccinated in the second dose. Besides, a booster dose has been given to 53 thousand 908 people at this time. These are the vaccines of Oxford-AstraZeneca, Sinopharm, Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson.
Immunization of 12-17-year-old students started in Bangladesh on 1st November. One crore 73 lakh 20 thousand 892 of them have been vaccinated so far. The second dose has been given to one crore 58 lakh 98 thousand 265 people.
According to the department, 21 lakh 7 thousand 76 floating people in the country have come under the vaccine so far. They have been vaccinated with a single dose of Johnson & Johnson.
Corona ticker registration in the country started on January 27. Vaccination activities start from 7th February. Anyone over the age of 18 can now get vaccinated.
