In a recent interview with Hindustan Times, Rawal said that Hera Pheri 3 will arrive next year, somewhere towards the end of 2024. He also revealed that the shoot will begin next year. He added that he is also working on another comedy sequel, Welcome 3, which will start shooting by the end of this year and is likely to release in May-June. He said that both are huge films and he is looking forward to them.
Rawal also shared his views on awards and how he does not care much about them. He said that he is not conscious, curious, or passionate about awards. He said that he values the appreciation of knowledgeable people more than awards. He said that awards are no longer a recognition and that it is the other way around.
