Rakib Hasan, the ex-husband of national team cricketer Nasir Hossain’s wife Tamima Sultana Tammi, said he did not want his ex-wife back in life.
He told a private channel around 8 pm on Wednesday (February 24).
Rakib said I did not get any copy of the divorce.
In response to a question, he said, “I don’t want Tamima back in life.” But my goal is to catch these lies.
Asked what is the benefit of this, Rakib said, “The benefit of removing the mask is not mine alone, it is the benefit of the entire male race. And those who want to take the wives of others will also be careful.
When asked about the allegation of forcing the child, he denied it. Regarding the GD of the mother-in-law with the child, he said, he (mother-in-law) does not want my daughter to stay with me. Because he doesn’t like me.
Earlier in the day, Nasir Hossain gave a press briefing to his wife.
There, Nasir said, action would be taken against anyone who made “bad” remarks about his wife through social media or elsewhere. “You all have mothers and sisters,” he added. Does he (Tamima) have any right to be happy?
And Tamima said, I divorced Rakib and married Nasir. I divorced him in 2017. I was married to Rakib and we have a child. Besides, everything Rakib is saying is a lie.
Nasir and Tamima got married on February 14 on World Love Day at a restaurant in Uttara. Tamima is a cabin crew by profession. Worked in a foreign airline.
The controversy started before the marriage formalities started.
A man named Rakib Hasan, who identified himself as Tamima Sultana Tammi’s ex-husband, complained that Tamima remarried without divorcing him. Rakib made a general diary (GD) at Uttara West police station on the allegation. He did not know about his long relationship with Tamima at the police station.
It is learned that Rakib has an 8-year-old daughter in his 11-year family with Tamima.
He then sent a legal notice in the incident. The legal notice was sent to the Secretary of the Ministry of Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, the Secretary of the Ministry of Information and Technology, and the Secretary of the Ministry of Religion seeking directions to digitize the marriage and divorce registration process to avoid fraud.
Rakib Hasan filed a case against Nasir and Tamima on Wednesday for marrying someone else’s wife without the last divorce papers.
