Babil Khan, son of late actor Irrfan Khan, made his name in Bollywood with the movie ‘Qala’. Now the Netflix series ‘The Railway Men 2023: The Untold Story of Bhopal 1984’.
The four-part series, based on the 1984 Bhopal gas disaster in India, was released on Netflix on November 18. Babil Khan played the role of a train driver.
In an interview, Babil Khan said, eight months after his father’s death (April 29, 2020), he took part in the shooting of the series.

Babil’s performance in the series was praised by actor Kay Kay Menon, who also starred opposite Babil Khan’s father Irrfan Khan. Kay Kay Menon said, “I realized while working with him, Babil will go a long way.”
Babil Khan has acted in another Netflix movie ‘Friday Night Plan’.
Babil Khan, son of irrfan Khan and screenwriter and producer Sutapa Sikdar, was born and raised in Mumbai. He worked behind the camera before signing his name in acting.
