Bimanbala Tamima Sultana Tammi, wife of cricketer Nasir Hossain, has been sent a legal notice to Saudi Airlines to prevent her from going abroad. The legal notice was announced on Monday (March 22).
Advocate Ishrat Hasan has sent a legal notice to Saudi Airlines seeking a ban on emigration, informing them of Tamima’s moral turpitude and criminal case.
The lawyer told reporters that a legal notice had been sent to Saudi Airlines to prevent cricketer Nasir Hossain’s wife Tamima Sultana Tammi from leaving Bangladesh.
The notice asked Saudi Airlines authorities to take steps to prevent Tamima from leaving the country due to her job until the trial is over. On March 9, a notice was sent to the country manager of the Saudi Airlines Authority to take action in this regard.
Earlier, the lawyer had also filed a writ petition seeking directions to digitize the registration of marriages and divorces on behalf of three persons, including Tamima’s ex-husband Rakib Hasan.

In the writ petition, two secretaries of the law ministry, the information and communication technology secretary, the religion secretary and the chairman of the BTRC have been named as defendants.
The writ petition was filed after the legal notice was issued to the concerned persons on February 22 to digitize the registration of marriage and divorce cases.
