It has been alleged that Lipi Akhter (17), a schoolgirl in Shibchar, Madaripur, committed suicide by poisoning after some pictures of offensive and intimate moments went viral in the net world. Relatives of the deceased Lipi Akhter’s mother Hiron Nesha and others broke down in tears beside the body. An inquest report has been prepared and the body has been sent to Madaripur morgue for autopsy. An unsolved case has been filed at Shibchar police station.
According to locals and family sources, Roni Bepari, a talented young man from Kadirpur village in Shibchar Upazila of Madaripur, has a love affair with Lipi Akhter, a schoolgirl from Balakandi village in Panchchar union of the same upazilaDeveloped.The boy’s side rejected the marriage proposal. Since then, the talented young man Md. Roni Bepari has uploaded some intimate moments of the girl on his Facebook page ‘Nijhum Raater Nil Pari’ (fake and fake) ID through social media. Several pictures of the girl went viral. In that anger, on the evening of February 19 (Friday), he drank poison in his daughter’s house. Seriously ill Lipi Akhter was first taken to Shibchar Upazila Health Complex. After taking Faridpur first and then Dhaka, he died on Sunday (February 21) morning. Police have prepared an inquest report and sent the body to Madaripur morgue for autopsy.
The deceased was identified as Akhter Madaripur, daughter of Dulal Faraji, a Dubai expatriate from Balakandi village in Panchchar union of Shibchar Upazila. She is a 10th class student of Panchchar Girls High School. This year i.e. 2021 SSC examinee. According to several reliable sources in the area, the fake ID called ‘Nijhum Raater Nil Pari’ was used by a young man named Md. Roni Bepari.
Yusuf Razi, the uncle of the deceased, said that his niece Lipi Akhter had taken a poisonous substance two days ago as her picture went viral on Facebook. He died in Dhaka this morning.
Hiron Begum, the mother of the deceased, said that Ronnie’s family had earlier proposed marriage to her daughter. One of my nieces was married to her (Ronnie Bepari’s) cousin in that house so we didn’t want to be relatives there. Because of this he got angry and left some pictures of my daughter on Facebook and threatened to leave more videos with pictures on Facebook. However, he did not agree to give any statement in front of the camera.
Shibchar police sub-inspector (SI) Mohammad Rahmat Ali said, “I came to the spot after getting the news.” Lipi Akhter, daughter of Dubai expatriate Dulal Faraji, drank a poisonous substance in her house last Friday evening. Lipi Akhter was taken to Shibchar Upazila Health Complex when he fell seriously ill. He died on Sunday (February 21) after being taken to Faridpur and then Dhaka.
According to locals and family sources, Md. Ronnie Bepari’s family kinship (killed Lipiri elder sister’s brother Ronnie Bepari) No written complaint has been lodged with the police so far by the family of the deceased.
Shibchar police officer in charge. Miraj Hossain said, after receiving the news through people, I sent the police there. Police went to the spot and made an inquest report. The body has been sent to Madaripur morgue for autopsy. An unsolved case has been filed in this regard
