Bangladeshi superstar Shakib Khan is all set to make his debut in the Indian film industry with the upcoming movie ‘Dard‘. The film, which is being made in four languages, will feature actors from both Bangladesh and India.
Shakib Khan was supposed to fly to Mumbai on October 15 for the pre-production work of the film, but his trip was delayed due to visa issues. However, he finally got his visa on Sunday night and is ready to join the shooting in Varanasi from October 27.
The film’s producer Kamal Kibria and director Anonno Mamun confirmed the news to The Daily Star. They said that the team was working hard in Varanasi and Mumbai to prepare for the film. They also praised Shakib Khan for his support and cooperation.
‘Dard’ is a joint production of SK Movies, One World Movies, Action Cut Entertainment, and Kibria Films. The film will star Shakib Khan, Sonal Chauhan, Rahul Dev, Shahiduzzaman Selim, Elina Shammi, and Jessia Islam in important roles. The film will be released in Bengali, Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam languages.
