As of the writing of the report of the wife of the missing expatriate on Thursday, no trace of her was found till 6:30 pm on Friday.
The father of the missing expatriate wife has filed a missing person’s diary at Sudharam Model Police Station on Friday. Missing Nasreen Akhter is the daughter of Abdur Rahman of Azizia village in Burirchar union of Hatia upazila.
According to police sources, Nasreen Akhter was married to Tamjid Hossain, a Saudi expatriate son of Abul Kashem of Afazia village in Hatiyar Charking Union, two years ago. Nasreen had been suffering from stomach ache for some time.
His father Abdur Rahman left Hatia for Chittagong around 8am on Thursday for treatment. At around 1pm on Thursday, Nasreen felt nauseous in the Sonapur Zero Point area of the district town.
At that time Rahman left his daughter at the Ekushey bus counter and went to fetch the tablets. When he came back after 5-10 minutes, he saw that Nasreen was not there. After searching all possible places, no trace of him was found. Later, father Abdur Rahman filed a missing diary at Sudharam Model Police Station.
