Badhon made his Bollywood debut with the movie “Khufiya” directed by Vishal Bhardwaj. The movie was released on Netflix on October 5. Bollywood star Tabu has played the lead role. And Azmeri Haque Badhon of Bangladesh shared the screen with him.
As it is shocking news that a Bangladeshi star will be seen in Bollywood, there are various talks about it in the beginning. It is sometimes positive and sometimes negative. Tabu plays Krishna Mehra, aka KM, an operative for India’s foreign intelligence agency, Research and Analysis Wing (R&AW). She is a seasoned spy who is determined to find and expose the mole who leaked vital information to Pakistan and caused the death of her lover and colleague, Heena Rehman.
Ali Fazal plays Ravi Mohan, a charming and successful employee of R&AW who is secretly working as a mole for Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) agency. He is married to Charu Mohan, who is unaware of his double life.
Wamiqa Gabbi plays Charu Mohan, Ravi’s wife and a journalist who covers political and social issues. She is loyal and supportive of her husband, but she also has a curious and investigative mind that leads her to uncover some shocking truths.
Ashish Vidyarthi plays Jeev, KM’s mentor and R&AW’s director of counterterrorism operations. He is a veteran spy who has seen it all and trusts no one. He assigns KM the task of finding the mole in their agency.
Atul Kulkarni plays Shashank, KM’s ex-husband and a senior officer in R&AW. He is still in love with KM and tries to help her in her mission, but he also has his own agenda.
Navnindra Behl plays Ravi’s mother, a devout and traditional woman who loves her son and daughter-in-law. She is unaware of Ravi’s secret activities and hopes for their happiness.
Shataf Figar plays Mirza Sahib, aka Brigadier Mirza, an operative for Pakistan’s ISI agency. He is a ruthless and cunning spy who is behind many attacks on India. He is also the one who kills Heena Rehman.
Azmeri Haque Badhon plays Heena Rehman, aka Octopus, an undercover agent who works for KM. She is a fearless and skilled spy who infiltrates the ISI network and tries to assassinate Mirza Sahib. She is also KM’s lover and partner.
