Bangladesh has made a great start in the Asia Cup Archery Tournament. Roman Sana lost to the Philippines’ Gervin Garcia 6-4 in the first round of Phuket Recurve men’s singles in Thailand. In another match, Hakim Ahmed won by 6-0 set points against Phanthacorn Chaislip of Thailand.
However, Ramakrishna Saha and Sagar Islam are disappointed. Hong Kong’s Chun Kit defeated Ramakrishna by 5-6 set points. Udhaya Thanam of Thailand lost to Sagar by 6-5 set points.

35 archery men from 12 countries in Asia will compete in the recurve men’s event, 24 in the recurve women’s event, 33 in the compound men’s event, and 23 in the compound women’s event.
