Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez, who was interrogated on Tuesday in connection with $200 money laundering, was the victim of the same scam, sources say.
According to sources in the Department of Law Enforcement, the 36-year-old actor was targeted by Sukesh Chandrashekar, the alleged organizer of the scandal, through his partner Lina Paul.
“She has not been charged but is being considered as a witness in the case against the fraudster Sukesh Chandrasekhar,” a source from the Department of Corrections told NDTV.
