What are the benefits of being a citizen in UAE?

If you’ve been to Dubai, then you know how much more luxurious life is when compared to other countries. All citizens enjoy a high standard of living and have access to some of the most innovative technologies.

Additionally, UAE citizenship is beneficial because it allows you to live and work in one of the seven emirates in the country. For example, if you want a career as a doctor in Abu Dhabi, UAE citizenship will allow you to go through their curriculum without having to study abroad or go through residency training. This is just one example of how your citizenship will benefit your life.

What is the cost of applying for UAE citizenship?

There are a number of steps to getting UAE citizenship, and a few have costs associated with them. The first is the application fee, which is a non-refundable payment of AED 100. You must also submit two passport-size photos with your application as well as your original birth certificate.

Once you’ve met these requirements, you’ll need to provide a police clearance certificate from your current country of residence. This certificate should detail any criminal offenses you may have committed in the last five years or so. If you’re an expat living in Dubai, this will likely be the most expensive part of the process at AED 5,000.

Finally, an interview is required for final approval and comes with an additional fee of AED 500 for Emirati citizens or AED 1,000 for expats residing in Dubai.

Important information and documents required to apply

If you want to become a citizen of UAE, you need to be an investor in the country and also have a clean criminal record. Additionally, you must have been residing in Dubai for at least 5 years. And, if you’re married and living with your spouse, they also need to meet these same qualifications.

The first step is getting all the necessary documents together. You need copies of your passport, valid residence visa and work permit (for the UAE), two passport-sized photos, a copy of your driving license and birth certificate translated into Arabic by an official translator.

You will also need proof of your financial status – this can be done through sponsorship letters or certificates that show you are earning sufficient income. Lastly, if you’re married, you will need a letter from your spouse stating they want to live with you in Dubai as well as their birth certificate translated into Arabic by an official translator.

The second step is finding the right person to sponsor you. This may seem difficult at first glance but it’s actually quite easy! You can find a sponsor through people who know you well – friends, family members or business associates.

When applying for citizenship through sponsorship, one of them needs to fill out the application forms on your behalf and provide evidence that they are able to take care of all expenses incurred throughout the process (this means not only paying for themselves but also for any dependents). They are then responsible for taking care of any fees or taxes payable on

Timeline for the application process

The process is fairly straightforward, but it will take some time. It may take up to three months to complete the application and gather all of the required materials. The first step is to decide if you want to apply for UAE citizenship as a resident or an economic citizen.

Residents can have residency in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, or any other emirate. Economic citizens are awarded with a 10-year visa and are eligible for citizenship after five years.

1) Gather your documents

You’ll need copies of your passport, identity card, marriage certificate (if applicable), recent photographs, and a passport size photo. You’ll also need to provide proof that you have adequate income and sufficient funds for your dependents.

This means submitting bank statements or other proof of income along with personal documents like your birth certificate and marriage certificate. You’ll also need to provide evidence that you don’t have any criminal record in any country excluding traffic violations or parking tickets.

2) Fill out the form

The UAE Government set up a form called Tawteen which can be found on the UAE Visa website. The form outlines all of the information needed for processing your citizenship application including name, gender, nationality, marital status, occupation, employer address if applicable, marital status (if applicable), specialized qualities/skills possessed by the applicant (if applicable), and financial statement if applying as an economic citizen along with requested residence address during processing period if different than current.

Thank you.
