The release of Toukir Ahmed’s new movie Sphulingo was delayed due to unavoidable reasons.Though it was supposed to be released on March 19, it was informed two days ago that the movie will not be released on this date. After more than two years, Toukir was returning with a movie he had directed, but his return was interrupted. However, the period of restraint stood only one week, the Sphulingo will be released on March 26 on Independence Day. This information has been informed from the official Facebook page of the movie.
At first it was said that a special exhibition of Sphulingo would be organized on March 17, Bangabandhu’s birthday. A day later, on March 19, the movie will be released in theaters. But suddenly director Taukir Ahmed said that the Sphulingo will not be released on the scheduled day. .He did not give any specific reason for postponing the release date of the movie, nor did he say when Sphulingo will be released. However, he said, he will try to release the movie very soon. And so he chose the day of Independence Day to release the movie. .The movie has already received clearance from the censor board without any cuts. In other words, no scene of the movie has been censored. Censor board members also praised Taukir Ahmed’s film.
The film ‘Sphulingoling’ is being produced by ‘Dream Bangladesh Foundation’ on the occasion of the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. The shooting of the movie started on December 11 last year at Nakshatrabari Resort in Rajendrapur. .The shooting of this movie has been completed in just 23 days. Shamol Mawla, Zakia Bari Mom and Pori Moni are playing the central roles in the movie Sphulingo. Mom is going to act again under the direction of Taukir after a long thirteen years through this film. He had earlier acted in Taukir’s movie ‘Daruchini Dwip’. Raunak Hasan, Abul Hayat, Mamunur Rashid, Shahidul Alam Sachchu and many others have also acted in other roles.
The first look, the official poster of Sphulingo has already been released. After the release of two romantic songs ‘Tomar Naam’ and ‘Bujhi Na’, there was a response from the audience.
