The 45th BCS written exam result was declared today. 9 thousand 841 people have passed it. The final evaluation of the passers viva (oral examination) will begin in the first week of next September. But the exact date of the oral examination has not been informed by the Public Works Commission.
After publishing the result on the website of the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) on Sunday (August 20) afternoon, the PSC said that the oral examination of those who passed the BCS written examination will begin in early September. The detailed schedule of the oral examination will be published in due course in the newspaper and on the website of the Commission.
What Candidates Need to Do Before Oral Examination
Qualified candidates will download and collect the prescribed online form for the 43rd BCS from the Commission’s website www.bpsc.gov.bd. The online form BPSC Form-1 [Applicant’s copy] collected from the Commission’s website along with 2 sets of attested copies of required certificates/documents should be submitted to the concerned oral examination board on the day of oral examination and the original certificates should be displayed to the board.
3 copies of passport-size photographs taken not more than 3 months back, signed by the candidate and attested by a gazetted officer of first class, should be attached on the top left side of BPSC Form-1 with the help of a stapler.
Attested photocopies of all original/temporary certificates issued by the Board and University as proof of educational qualification.
Attested copy of original/provisional certificate of SSC./ PECE examination from the Education Board for proof of age. Candidates who have passed ‘O Level’ and ‘A Level’ have to produce documentary proof of date of birth. Note that affidavit for proof of age will not be accepted. Certificate/Marksheet/Testimonial of Candidates with Four Years Graduate/Graduate (Honours) Degree if
1 year Bachelor/Graduate (Honours) if not mentioned but attested copy of his certificate from the Head of Department/ Controller of Examinations/Registrar for 4 years Bachelor/Graduate (Honours) degree obtained along with the application form. Otherwise, their earned degree will be deemed to be of 3 years duration.
40th B.C.S. published on 30,11,2020 in respect of candidates with degrees obtained from abroad. Attested copy of the Equivalence Certificate from the concerned Equivalence Committee/Ministry of Education as per paragraph 1.2 of the examination advertisement.
BMDC in the case of Medical (MBBS)/BDS degree candidates. An attested photocopy of the registration certificate issued by the Veterinary Council in case of Animal Husbandry (VVM) degree holders and by the Ministry of Education/Concerned Authority in case of degree holders in other subjects. BMDC/Veterinary Council certificate should be attached along with the address of the husband mentioned in the application form.
Attested copy of candidate’s weight (kg), height (cm), and chest size (cm) from BMDC Registered Medical Practitioner. The certificate must mention the Medical Practitioner’s Registration Number.
Attested copy of clearance issued by the employing authority if currently employed in any Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous/Local Government Organisation.
Attested copy of the letter of resignation/received resignation/removal order from concerned appointing authority in case of resignation or removal from service of a candidate in Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous/Semi-Autonomous/Local Government Organization.
Attested photocopy of the certificate obtained from the concerned District Commissioner if the candidate belongs to the minority community. A certificate issued by any officer other than the District Commissioner will not be accepted.
Attested photocopy of Disability Certificate issued by Deputy Director of District Social Services Office under Directorate of Social Services/Equivalent/Authority concerned if the candidate is disabled.
Attested photocopy of certificate issued by Civil Surgeon in case of third gender candidates.
Candidates having National Identity Card (NID) number will submit an attested copy of the NID. And those who do not have a NID number will submit the attested copy of the NID along with the application to the Controller of Examination (Cadre) of the Commission after getting the NID. However, the candidature of any candidate will not be disqualified due to the non-existence of NID. If the candidate is the son-daughter of a freedom fighter/martyr freedom fighter or son-daughter a son-daughter, an attested copy of the freedom fighter certificate of father/mother issued by the Ministry of Liberation War.
Oral Test Cards will not be mailed to any candidate. All have to download from the PSC website.
