Yes, the band’s vocalist Tasrif Khan said so in a conversation with natunnewsmonitor. He said, ‘Our goal was to introduce our band through cover songs. That is the first year, much like the completion of sixteen arts. Then we concentrate on the basic song as planned. So far we have released 38 original songs. Most of our songs have been well received by the audience. We are happy. Gratitude to the audience for their support. ’

From January 5, 2017 to September 21, 2020, the huts have achieved a lot in the course of four years. The band has participated in more than 120 concerts across the country, including India, three times. There are also concerts outside the country up front. Meanwhile, last Monday (September 21), in recognition of the millions of subscribers to their channel, YouTube received the second highest recognition Golden Play-Button. In this context, Tasrif said, ‘Looking back, our initial struggle and madness are floating in front of all eyes like a picture. It’s like a story of a little something from zero.
‘On August 8, 2016, I created my own personal YouTube channel. .On that day, 24 people subscribed to the channel after requesting about 1600 people from Facebook friends list. I’m so happy! From that day on, I started uploading songs alone and kept dreaming, one day I will also have a band, people will listen to my songs, I will stand on the stage and sing, how much more! After setting up the channel, we decided to call some of the well-known younger brothers and friends in the area and we would form a band called ‘Kureghor’. Regarding the initial struggle to form the band, Tasrif said, “The first content of a few weird boys (in the eyes of many in the society) who sang while sitting on the wall of the college or by the pond was uploaded on YouTube on December 3, 2016.” With no knowledge of how to upload to YouTube, we see 400 views of the song at the end of the first day! This is a matter of great surprise! 400 means a lot, a whole college field is filled with 400 people! So many people saw our song! Then more days, then more! We started floating in the comment box with people’s praise. ‘After a while the whole band moved to Dhaka and from my (Tasrif Khan) house I, Shuvo, Sabbir, Shravan and a few others started working together! .My younger brother Tanjib Khan (now the band’s founder, guitarist and digital expert) sat down and started learning YouTube and video editing related studies! Our band’s routine was to create content, edit, and upload to YouTube all night long. What an emotional day!
Speaking about the first concert, the vocalist of the Kureghor said, “I can’t say how happy I was to get the phone for the first concert! It seems to be more than 120 now. .Going abroad for the first time, getting their passports in a hurry is also a huge battle. Due to the complexity of the passport, the date of the concert in India was postponed for the first time. Each of our battles is like the first chapter of a book, really!
He added: “Ever since our concert didn’t start like that, but we’ve been getting a lot of response on YouTube, there’s been an issue in every meeting of our band – how to get closer to people directly. How to have a concert without a concert call!
‘We decided to do something new, a different event! The name will be ‘Kureghor Adda’. It doesn’t matter, I will go to a certain place by chatting on the event / status on Facebook or by phone and chat with strangers and sing songs. Unbelievable, how wonderful things were. We went to Dhanmondi Lake, Rabindra Sarobar, in front of Sangsad Bhaban or in one of the district fields and started chatting. Many laughed at the beginning, but when I got home at the end of the day, the book of feeling good and learning about people became more full.
.”As much as we had learning stories, we also had heartbreaking stories,” Tasrif said. When we came to Dhaka at the beginning of the band, I got a call for a performance from a friend of mine from a varsity at a well-known restaurant in Dhanmondi. We are very excited that day! I also do some shopping, talk about concerts. He said that he would rehearse the songs all day and perform them in the evening. We sit for 2 hours and our call is that we will actually get up on stage. Suddenly one of the organizers came and said that they don’t have much time, we won’t have the performance. We asked for our faces for a while and quietly went to Dhanmondi Lake. I sat for a long time in the dark of night, Shubh and Shravan. I did not dare to look them in the eye that night. “I’m planning something new,” Tasrif said of the band’s new work. I will start soon. I will make several basic songs in a row. However, I want to make a song with some time. I would like to give something good as a gift to the listeners of Bangla songs and the fans of the Kureghor.
.In the midst of many words, Tasrif’s words confirmed that ‘they are successful in the short-lived music struggle. ‘Kureghor’ is known as a nationwide band.
