Two people were killed when a CNG autorickshaw collided head-on with a bus on the Daganbhuiyan-Basurhat road in Feni. Three others were injured.
The accident happened around 8 am on Friday (October 30). The victims were all autorickshaw passengers. After rescuing the injured, they were taken to the Upazila Health Complex and sent to the 250-bed General Hospital in Feni for better treatment.
The deceased were identified as Zakaria, son of Solaiman of Phulbari and Ainul Haque, son of Bachchu Miah of Netrokona.
The injured have been identified as Abid, son of Majhu Miah of Paharpur area of Netrokona, Masud, (22) son of Abdur Rahman of the same area and Sujan, son of Abdul Baten of Nalua area of Kabirhat in Noakhali.
According to locals, an auto rickshaw coming from Feni collided head-on with a Dreamline bus on Daganbhuiyan-Basurhat road.
Two people were killed on the spot.
Daganbhuiyan Police Station Inspector (OC) Imtiaz Ahmed confirmed the matter to banglanews.
