Actress Srabanti can be sentenced to seven years in prison

A case has been registered against Srabanti under Sections 9, 11, 39, 46A, 49 and 49A of the Wildlife Protection Act, 1972. A warning was sent to him on February 15. Srabanti was also asked to report to the Salt Lake Wildlife Crime Squad and the Salt Lake Data Management Office.

If anyone behaved like actress Srabanti, they and the five would be framed, a forest department official said. The forest department has asked Srabanti to cooperate with the investigation. If convicted, Srabanti could face up to seven years in prison.
