নবম-দশম শ্রেণির “Right form of verbs” আয়ত্ত করার সহজ কৌশল

আসসালামু আলাইকুম প্রিয় শিক্ষার্থী বন্ধুরা আশা করি সবাই ভালো আছো। আজকে আমি তোমাদের ইংরেজি ২য় পত্রের গুরুত্বপূর্ণ টপিক “Right form of verbs” নিয়ে ধাপে ধাপে আলোচনা করবো এবং সহজে যাতে তোমরা এই টপিক টি আয়ত্ত করতে পারো সেইভাবে উপস্থাপন করার চেষ্টা করবো। তো চলো শুরু করা যাক।

★Right form of verbs বলতে মূলত বাক্যে verb এর সঠিক রূপ (form) টির ব্যবহার বোঝায়।

★তোমাদের নবম-দশম শ্রেণির পরীক্ষায় ১০টি শুন্যস্থান সহ একটি  Passage দেওয়া থাকবে।প্রতিটি শুন্যস্থান-ই হবে verb সংক্রান্ত।

এখন আমরা Right form of verbs এর কিছু গুরুত্বপূর্ণ রুল সম্পর্কে জানবো এবং এদের ব্যবহার সম্পর্কে পূর্ণ ধারণা নেওয়ার চেষ্টা করবো। তার আগে তোমাদের কে বলে নেই ” practice makes a man perfect” তাই যত বেশি বেশি এই লেখাটি পড়বে এবং বার বার অনুশীলন করবে ততোই পরীক্ষায় ভালোভাবে verbs এর সঠিক form  ব্যবহার করা শিখতে পারবে।

RULE 1:গত সময় (last year,last day,yesterday,  ago,long ago,last night ইত্যাদি) উল্লেখ থাকলে Sentence টির verb past tense এ হবে,অর্থাৎ মূল verb এর past form হবে।

*Example –

(i)Father (come) home yesterday.

=Father came home yesterday.

(ii)Last year I (pass) S.S.C

=Last year I passed S.S.C

RULE 2: বর্তমান চলছে এমন ধরনের শব্দ (Now,at present,at this moment ইত্যাদি)  উল্লেখ থাকলে verb এর present continuous tense হবে।

*Example –

(i) He (write) a letter now

=He is writing a letter now

(ii)We (enjoy) the flim at this moment.

=We are enjoying the flim at this moment.

RULE 3 : Universal truth বা চিরন্তন সত্য প্রকাশক Sentence এর verb সব সময়ই Present Indefinite Tense হয়ে থাকে।

*Example –

(i)The earth (move) round the sun.

=The earth moves round the sun.

(ii)Honey (taste) sweet.

=Honey tastes sweet.

RULE 4: For, On,at,by,without,of,from ইত্যাদি Preposition এর পরে Verbটির সাথে ing যোগ হবে।

*Example –

(i)I am in the habit of (take) tea.

=I am in the habit of taking tea.

(ii)On (go) there, we found the pot empty.

=On going there,we found the pot empty

RULE 5 : It is time,It is high time ইত্যাদি কোন Sentence এ থাকলে bracket  verb এর past form হয়।

Example –

(i)It is high time I (to do) the work.

=It is high time I did the work.

(ii) I fancy I (to turn) white.

=I fancy I turned white.

1. আজকে এই পর্যন্ত,  আগামী পর্বে আরও কিছু গুরুত্বপূর্ণ রুল সম্পর্কে আলোচনা করবো। সেই পর্যন্ত তোমরা এই ৫টি RULE ভালোভাবে আয়ত্ত করার চেষ্টা করো।
