My First Day at School
Every child’s first day at school always very exciting. At least so in my case. I remembered my first day at school very vividly. I remembered it was my mother who took me to my school on my first day there. I had a very small bag in my hand. It contained an exercise book, a pencil, an eraser beside me. I actually did not need all these things but had insisted on my taking them with me. My father had already filled up the admission form and submitted it to the school principal a number of days before. Now I had to appear for an interview. My mother went to the school superintendent and got the admission form . She took it to the principal. Before entering the principal office, she had to wait outside for a few minutes . She sent a slip in and was soon called inside. My mother took me inside to the principal room. I felt a little awed as Isaw a big tall lady with a dominating personality occupying a revolving chair. However, soon her sweet voice allayed my fears. , soon allayed my fears. Then send asked me a very few simple questions such as my name, my mother, and my father’s name.
Meanwhile, I had gathered courage and I was able to all the questions without any kind of hesitations. I got admitted to that school .the day of my first-day school was really exciting for me.

How are you? I received your interesting letter yesterday. In that day you wanted to know about the prize-giving ceremony of our school. So , I am writing to you about it.
The annual prize-giving ceremony of our school was held last week in the school. We decorated our school building with coloured. We decorated our school buildings with coloured paper, leaves and flowers. Our ex-headmaster presided over the meeting
The function began at 3 P.M.After the recitation of the Holy Quran, our headmaster read out the annual report. Then our game teacher called us one by one and the president gave away the prizes. I got two prizes. When the formal meeting was over, we staged a short drama. It was highly appreciated by the audience. This being over then-president made a short and valuable speech.
